After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Patriots committed. Caleb Williams is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

They banked enough surplus on Laube to cover a lot of smaller sins. They will answer for taking cornerback early while edge rusher and interior defensive lineman went begging.

A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want.
