The Raiders let Higgins fall into their laps, and walked away with a B-.

Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Jay Higgins got past him. The Raiders do not have to explain a thing at the 212th pick. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They are betting Grant proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
