The Patriots robbed the room for Fisher. Final grade: B+.

Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Patriots came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Fisher. They will need Hadden to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

The veteran additions, Jevon Holland chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
