The Browns looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Karson Sharar at the 206th pick regardless, 127 picks early.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. That Stowers pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.
