Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Patriots, and the value they bled adds up to real damage. A weekend to file away and forget, and an F to match.

Jayden Daniels is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Rouse has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.

About as rough as a weekend gets on paper, with edge rusher still staring back at them.
