The Dametrious Crownover selection is the head-turner. The Dolphins reached 47 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

On value alone, Golday makes the weekend a net positive. It is not that Kilgore is a bad player; it is that the Dolphins had louder needs to answer first. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.
