They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Caleb Williams is the Patriots' quarterback, full stop.

McClellan at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Spending an early pick on cornerback with edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Caleb Williams and all.
