Draft Grade — Cardinals

The Cardinals did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B. Everything else got attention, and quarterback got none. That is a strange way for the Cardinals to leave a draft.
They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick Analysis
Pick2
Rnd1
Marvin Harrison Jr.
In the 2nd overall pick they get a home-run threat at receiver. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick21
Rnd1
Tyler Nubin
In No. 21 they get a centerfielder for the defense at fair value. More want than need.
Pick34
Rnd2
Nate Wiggins
A straight-up fair deal on Nate Wiggins at Round 2, Pick 2, value and slot in agreement. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
