A solid, sensible weekend for the Cardinals: B.

Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Cardinals never addressed quarterback, and it is the kind of gap that lingers.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.

Pick Analysis
Pick2 Rnd1 Joe Alt
In the 2nd pick they get a cornerstone up front. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick21 Rnd1 Jer'Zhan Newton
In Round 1, Pick 21 they get a pocket-collapsing interior rusher at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
