The Bengals did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Rasheem Biles fell into Round 3, Pick 8. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

The back end got a real overhaul.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
