The Daevin Hobbs selection is the head-turner. The Patriots reached 35 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

On value alone, Wilson makes the weekend a net positive. They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it.

Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
