The Steelers finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a B.

Start where it matters. The Steelers took Brendan Sorsby to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

However the rest shakes out, Mack at that price is a win they earned. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

The cost of the Sorsby reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.

The board had cheaper options than Brendan Sorsby at the Round 1 slot, and it noticed. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.

They barely believed it either: King Mack still on the board at pick 53. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
