The Cardinals did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B.

There is a lot to like until you notice quarterback is still a hole. The Cardinals never got to the one that mattered most.

Sweat has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. On the needs board they went 2 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.

Pick Analysis
Pick4 Rnd1 Marvin Harrison Jr.
In the 4th pick they get a true top target at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick27 Rnd1 T'Vondre Sweat
In the Round 1 slot they get an anchor for the defensive front, reach and all. A real need, handled.
