A physical, productive workhorse at Jacksonville State, Cook carried the Gamecocks by piling up 1,650 yards and 16 touchdowns behind rare contact balance. He forces missed tackles in bunches, racked up 1,142 yards after contact and flashes the long speed to finish once he clears the line, with 669 breakaway yards, and he is a willing, capable pass protector for his size.

However, the production is the question; almost all of it came against Group of Five and FCS defenses, and the one time he faced a Power Four front, against UCF, he managed just 75 yards and no score, a genuine caution flag. He is also only an average receiver, which caps his third-down value, and a compact frame with a heavy workload raises durability concerns.

Overall, Cook projects as a rotational early-down back with lead-back upside if the production holds a level up; the contact balance, finishing speed and toughness tend to travel, but the lone Power Four data point is the reason to be cautious.
