EDGE RUSHER RANKINGS 2027 NFL DRAFT

Edge is one of the deeper positions in this class. Five rushers sit inside our top thirty-two and they are tightly packed, the fifth of them not far off the second - a spread only three of the last seven classes have matched.

Texas's Colin Simmons leads it after winning the SEC sack title with ten sacks and 59 pressures, having already become the first Longhorn to take national freshman of the year. Oregon's Matayo Uiagalelei produced 52 pressures, six sacks and two forced fumbles across 726 snaps, a year after leading the Big Ten in sacks. South Carolina's Dylan Stewart, the top-ranked edge recruit of his recruiting class, generated 37 pressures and forced three fumbles as a sophomore, including a seven-pressure road game at Texas A&M.

What binds them is production rather than a shared frame. Simmons wins the corner before a tackle can set, Uiagalelei works through blockers with length and power, and Stewart gets the ball on the ground - three forced fumbles in a season.
