Scouting Report: Strengths
- Traore has an excellent motor and shows the stamina to last deep into the fourth quarter.
- He has decent enough flexibility to bend the edge, and Traore shows a good closing burst.
- He’s effective in pursuit when chasing down backs as a run defender, and he has the athleticism to cover a lot of ground when dropping into coverage.
- His spin is his best move, tight and quick to the point that blockers don’t have time to react to it. His closing burst is outstanding.
- Showed initial quickness and good flexibility to dip and bend. He has active hands and suddenness to his movements, demonstrating the ability to counter inside.
- Traore has ideal length as an edge rusher, with room to add more weight onto his frame.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Traore lacks the speed of a chase and- tackle guy. He lacks twitch as a pass rusher and lacks the feet and flexibility to threaten around the edge.
- Plays high and with poor balance and power. He’ll lose ground at the point of attack, and Traore doesn’t get the full benefit of his length.
- Traore lacks a physical element to his game. He’ll have a tough time setting the edge in the run game, and he struggles to disengage once blockers get into his chest.

For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
