Scouting Report: Strengths
- A savvy, versatile and instinctive edge rusher who did a little bit of everything, Collins was especially effective getting to the quarterback.
- Collins is strong enough in the lower body to hold up at the point of attack, and he displays a good feel as a grappler in the phone booth, consistently getting blockers off-balance before sending them to the ground.
- A technician with a high motor, he has a variety of moves and displays exceptionally good hand use. He shows a strong finishing burst and has the power to hold at the point of attack as a run defender.
- Shows a natural feel for setting up blockers and getting them off-balance. His hands are active and violent, and he quickly disengages with blockers and counters when his initial move stalls.
- His handwork is excellent. Collins is tough against the run, playing with a firm base when setting the edge and showing the upper-body strength to stack and shed blockers.
- His core flexibility and balance are excellent, and he has prototypical length.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Collins remains a bit raw, as Collins is inconsistent with his hand use and lacks violence in his hands
- He could stand to be more violent as a tackler in the run game, as he too often allows backs to run through his arm tackles. Collins also has limited experience dropping into coverage.
- His spin move is a bit slow and mechanical. He’s susceptible to cut blocks, a tactic that was used on him often

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank

For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
