Draft Profile: Bio
The younger brother of Ole Miss All-American edge Princely Umanmielen, Princewill grew up in the Austin area and played at Manor, signing with Nebraska as a four-star and one of the more coveted edge rushers in his class.

His two-plus years in Lincoln were quiet. He redshirted and rotated for the Cornhuskers, totaling 35 tackles and 1.5 sacks before entering the transfer portal as a top-three edge available and following his brother's path to Oxford.

The move sparked a breakout. In his lone 2025 season at Ole Miss, Umanmielen piled up eleven sacks, 51 pressures and thirteen tackles for loss across fifteen games, adding an interception. He posted six pressures against Tulane and saved his best for the College Football Playoff, where he registered 2.5 sacks, finally matching the recruiting billing after two flat years. The eleven sacks ranked among the SEC's best and capped a journey that began in the Austin suburbs.
Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Productive rusher, piling up fifty-one pressures and eleven sacks
  • Beat Oklahoma for two sacks and seven total pressures
  • Closed Washington State with two sacks and seven pressures
  • Brings length at 77 inches to stack and shed on the edge
  • Added two sacks against Tulane to stay disruptive in bunches
  • Dropped into coverage for an interception, flashing some range
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • Tackling finish is poor, with ten misses on the year
  • Modest timed speed wins with length over corner bend
  • Run defense is modest for an every-down projection
  • Counter bag is shallow, leaning on length to win
Scouting Report: Summary
Umanmielen broke out at Ole Miss with eleven sacks and fifty-one pressures, a long edge who uses 77-inch reach to stack tackles and convert length into wins. He beat Oklahoma for two sacks and seven pressures, closed Washington State with the same line, added two sacks against Tulane, and dropped into coverage for an interception. The production is real and it came in bunches against quality SEC tackles, which gives the tape weight at this point in the rankings.

The refinement is where the grade settles. He missed ten tackles, his timed speed is average so he wins with length more than corner bend, and his average force against the run for an every-down projection. His pass-rush plan leans on the long-arm without a deep counter bag when the first move stalls. He is a length-and-production rusher rather than a rare athlete, which shapes the kind of role he fits as a pro.

The appeal is the length and the sack production, a starting-caliber edge who wins with reach and motor and should produce in a rotation right away. Tighten the tackling and add a counter and the grade has room; Leave them and he is still a Day 2 contributor with a defined way to win. He projects as a rotational edge with starter upside, now headed to a third program for a featured role.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
