Draft Profile: Bio
A five-star quarterback in the 2021 class per 247Sports and Rivals, Huard finished his career at Kennedy Catholic in Burien, Washington as the state's all-time leader in passing yards before signing with Washington, where his father Damon and uncle Brock also played. As a freshman in 2021 he appeared in four games, throwing for 233 yards and a touchdown, and he attempted just two passes as the third-string quarterback in 2022.Huard transferred to Cal Poly for 2023 and started nine games at the FCS level, passing for more than 2,200 yards and 18 touchdowns. A move to Utah followed in 2024, but he missed the season after undergoing surgery and never appeared in a game for the Utes.
In January 2025 Huard transferred a third time, landing at USC. His lone 2025 appearance came against Northwestern in November, when he entered wearing punter Sam Johnson's No. 80, completed a 10-yard pass to Tanook Hines on a fake punt that extended a touchdown drive in a 38-17 Trojans win.

Huard was a celebrated five-star out of a Washington quarterback family, a lefty with a quick release, but his career never took hold across stops at Washington, Cal Poly, Utah and USC, where he sat behind the starter in 2025. The touch and the pedigree are still there, and he flashed the deep ball in the tiniest of samples.He earned a sixth year of eligibility after an injury-wiped season and returned to USC for 2026 to compete for a backup role. The five-star pedigree and the lefty release are pleasant memories more than a present-day projection; a team would be drafting the name and the throwing motion rather than any recent production, and even that is a stretch this far into a career that never found traction.
The reality is a career that never materialized. He has no meaningful recent reps, he is a below-average athlete with little creation value, and the sample is far too small to project an NFL role. The realistic projection is a depth arm rather than a draftable prospect, a pedigree name whose 2026 is about competing for a backup job rather than a draft profile.
