Ben Taylor-Whitfield was a three-star tackle at Duncanville in the Dallas area, where his team went 13-2 and reached the Class 6A Division I state final during his junior year.Taylor-Whitfield started at left guard against West Virginia as a true freshman in 2023, the first TCU true freshman lineman to start since 2012. He made nine starts on the right side in 2024, then opened every game of 2025, beginning at right tackle and shifting to the left side after four weeks. He logged 891 snaps that year but was charged with three sacks and nine penalties.
A senior now, Taylor-Whitfield was named to the Outland Trophy watch list before the season and has started all eight games at tackle. His protection has slipped, with three sacks and 22 pressures allowed. UCF got to him for two sacks, while West Virginia and Kansas each produced four pressures.

He has anchored the left side for two years and has the size NFL teams want. However, his protection has regressed this fall, with three sacks and 22 pressures allowed, including two sacks at UCF. Penalties are a second issue, with 14 flags since the start of 2025.
Overall, Taylor-Whitfield is a big, experienced tackle whose pass sets must get cleaner. He projects as a priority free agent who might be a better fit inside.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
