A dual-threat tight end and defensive lineman at Anderson outside Cincinnati, Foley earned first-team all-Ohio honors on defense before committing to football's other side. A four-star and a top-12 tight end, he flipped from Tennessee to Indiana on the eve of signing day. He developed into a red-zone weapon for the Hoosiers over his career.In 2025 Foley caught 37 passes for 533 yards and seven touchdowns across eleven games, dropping just two balls while taking more than 270 run-blocking snaps. At six-foot-six, he proved a reliable inline target who finishes near the goal line, a two-way tight end whose scoring production and frame put him on the draft radar. The seven-touchdown season made him one of the Big Ten's more productive scoring tight ends, and the defensive background shows in the physicality he brings as a blocker and after the catch.

The pedigree and the production finally met, one level down. Foley spent three buried seasons at Indiana, moved to Tulsa, and immediately became one of the country's most productive tight ends: 533 yards, seven touchdowns, a first-team all-conference nod, a 126-yard evisceration of East Carolina and a perfect seven-catch day against Oregon State. The traits that made him a four-star are visible again, elite timed speed for 260 pounds and a frame that boxes out defenders in the red zone.The doubts run in two directions. Against the Group of Five he still won only four of thirteen contested balls and ranked near the bottom of this group as a blocker, allowing three quarterback hits, so the soft parts of his game stayed soft even while the stats exploded. And the breakout came against the level he was supposed to dominate, after three Power Four years that produced almost nothing. Louisville now becomes his third program, restarting the proof cycle against ACC length.
The 2026 season is unusually legible: produce against Power Four defenses at even seventy percent of the Tulsa rate and the speed-size combination plays on Sundays; revert to the Indiana version and the file closes quietly. Day-three money rides on which tape shows up, and the touchdown nose gives him a puncher's chance at more.
