Draft Profile: Bio
Keon Sabb from IMG Academy High School was rated a 4-star recruit by ESPN and handed a 4-star grade by 247 Sports. Following high school, Sabb opted to join Michigan after being heavily recruited.

In 2022 as a freshman Sabb saw action in just 3 games and played a total of 17 snaps at safety for the Wolverines. He recorded no tackles, no assists, while adding no stops. In coverage Sabb notched up no pass breakups, no interceptions, and an elite QB rating when targetted of .0.

As a sophomore in 2023 he played in 12 games and logged 299 snaps for the Wolverines. He made 15 tackles, 4 assists, and had 7 stops. In coverage he totaled 3 pass breakups, 2 interceptions, and QB rating when targetted of 59.5.
Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Has good football awareness to read and react quickly and stay balanced and patient in space.
  • Eager to come downhill as a tackler and plays with a physical edge, and he’s effective as a blitzer.
  • Has the fluidity, speed and quick feet to come down and defend slot receivers in man coverage. Sabb also does a nice job breaking down in space as a tackler after the catch.
  • Closes to the ball quite well and possesses the hands to snatch throws away from his frame.
  • Has the fluid athleticism and speed to cover tight ends and maybe even some big slot receivers. He has the ball skills to create turnovers. He also has value as a blitzer.
  • Good strength to tackle. Plays with high energy and is a tough-minded overachiever.
  • His ball skills are very good. Sabb tracks the ball well downfield and has the hands and coordination to come away with interceptions even when Sabb isn’t targeted often.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • Plays out of control too often, laying a lot of big hits but also missing a lot of tackles along the way. Sabb also needs to do a better job reading routes when sitting back as a single-high safety.
  • Tends to play conservatively and give too much cushion when playing off.
  • Inconsistent getting off of blocks. Can be a step slow to react when a quarterback comes back to his side of the field late in progression.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
