Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Excellent sitting back as a single-high safety, taking in routes and reading the quarterback’s eyes
  • Tracks the ball well downfield and shows good ball skills, including the ability to go up and high-point it in contested-catch situations.
  • Picks up crossing routes well from the hash and uses cornerback speed to chase and cut in front of passes when possible.
  • Physical run supporter in the Antoine Winfield mold with short-area explosiveness to leave his mark on ballcarriers.
  • Has the fluidity, speed and quick feet to come down and defend slot receivers in man coverage. Mukuba also does a nice job breaking down in space as a tackler after the catch.
  • Lean, athletic build with plenty of room for additional muscle mass. Legitimate NFL-caliber athlete.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • NFL quarterbacks may take advantage of his aggressiveness in man and zone to eye up short routes and go over the top
  • Isn’t great in route recognition when he’s facing the action, is hesitant and susceptible to double moves, and too often gets unnecessarily handsy when playing trail position
  • Mukuba gets beat over the top too often, and Mukuba tends to panic and get too handsy when running downfield.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
