The former Virginia Tech cornerback sat out the 2020 season and so we need to look back to 2019 to get an idea as to his potential. Likely to be the second CB selected (after Surtain II). Farley has great size and that is linked to good speed and fluidity. Has really good ball skills (4 interceptions in 2019) and is at his best as a press corner. For a bigger cornerback, Farley has pretty much everything you are looking for (and it helps that he is a tough player happy to throw in a tackle against the run as well).
Farley is supremely talented but has major injury issues, the most recent of which is a back injury he has been battling for the past couple of years.
Update:
Farley was timed as 4.28 in the 40 yd dash although we are somewhat skeptical about this as it was hand-timed and this usually adds a tenth of a second to the result.
We think Farley could be taken anywhere from the top 10 to the mid-second round depending on to what extent teams place importance on his injury history.
