Draft Profile: Bio
Earnest Greene III, an offensive tackle from the University of Georgia, emerged as a standout performer in his redshirt freshman season. The Bellflower, California native was a four-year starter at St. John Bosco High School, where he developed into one of the nation's top offensive line prospects.

Greene's recruitment was notable, with four-star ratings across major scouting services. He participated in the 2022 All-American Bowl and was ranked as high as the #2 interior offensive lineman prospect nationally. His senior year culminated in leading St. John Bosco to the CIF Southern Section Division I semifinals.

After redshirting in 2022, Greene seized the starting left tackle role for Georgia in 2023. He started all 14 games, earning First Team Freshman All-American honors from The Athletic and a spot on the SEC All-Freshman Team. Greene was integral to an offensive line that led the SEC and ranked seventh nationally in sacks allowed (0.93 per game), contributing to Georgia's top-five national rankings in total offense, passing efficiency, and scoring.
Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Six pressures allowed in nine starts, steady protection on the right side.
  • Three years of SEC starting experience across both tackle spots.
  • Top-50 recruiting pedigree out of the country's premier prep program.
  • Zero sacks allowed despite a season spent managing a back injury.
  • The Ole Miss tape showed the two-way game when healthy.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • His run blocking collapsed to the bottom of his career range.
  • Back injury cost him games and visibly sapped the drive power.
  • Short arms and a slow stopwatch for life on the edge.
  • Moved off the blindside for a younger teammate, a telling depth-chart verdict.
Scouting Report: Summary
The pass protection held while everything else strained. Greene moved to right tackle for 2025, started the nine games his back allowed, and gave up six pressures with no sacks, steady work from a three-year SEC starter with St. John Bosco pedigree and a top-50 recruiting file. The Ole Miss tape showed the whole player, protection and push together, the version Georgia thought it was getting for a full season.

The rest of the year told a harder story. The back injury cost him games and visibly drained his drive blocking, which collapsed to the bottom of his career range, and the program's decision to move a younger teammate onto the blindside reads as its own quiet evaluation. With below-average timed athleticism and shorter arms, his margins were always technical, and a compromised core ate directly into them.

He returns to Athens for a fifth year, moving back to left tackle with something to prove and a medical file to clean. A healthy season restoring the run-game power would re-establish a day-three case built on starts, scheme pedigree and protection reliability; another injury-shaded year likely settles him as a priority free agent with swing-tackle economics. The 2026 tape, and just as decisively the medical exam that accompanies it, will determine which of those two careers begins.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
