Scouting Report: Strengths
- Greene plays with good leverage despite his taller frame, and he’s a surprisingly good mover for his size, showing fluidity and flexibility when blocking on the second level.
- When his hand placement is right, Greene has the strong grip that allows him to manhandle opponents. He plays with a mean streak and keeps the nastiness going through the whistle.
- In pass protection, he’s a fire hydrant who plays with a wide base and plenty of core strength.
- Offers a solid combination of size and movement skills. Greene has a naturally wide base, and he can dominate at the point of attack, firing off the line of scrimmage with impressive leg drive.
- Mauler in the run game, playing with a nasty disposition and showing excellent snap and punch quickness.
- Attacks his man, playing with a wide base and the lateral agility to mirror, sustain and shuffle to help inside. Has the size, strength and quick feet to be effective as a position run-blocker.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Greene doesn’t have ideal coordination between his upper and lower body and is often overeager to land an initial punch, Greene is prone to playing off-balance and struggling against counter moves.
- He’s often too mechanical as a pass protector, oversetting and getting beat inside.
- More of a waist bender with subpar feet, and he too often ends up reaching and lunging when going against quickness.
