A rare five-star out of Massachusetts, Aguero was the No. 1 recruit in his state at St. John's Prep in Lynn and the No. 32 overall prospect in his class, reportedly turning down significant NIL money to develop at Georgia. He worked into the Bulldogs' secondary against elite competition in a pro-style program.In 2025 Aguero recorded 30 tackles, an interception and thirteen run stops across twelve games, holding up evenly in man and zone without an obvious hole. He saved his best game for Tennessee with an interception and four stops, but blank outings like the one against Georgia Tech kept the playmaking from taking off, leaving the recruiting ranking ahead of the production for now.
