Scouting Report: Strengths
- His hand use is excellent; he’s strong in the upper body and consistently swats away blockers.
- He’s a high-effort pass rusher who shows good initial quickness and the ability to beat blockers to the inside.
- Ware-Hudson has a wide base and a low center of gravity to hold his ground, as well as the upper-body strength to shed blockers.
- Delivers a strong punch and uses his hands to shed blocks to make plays in the hole or outside the box. Uses lower-body strength to anchor inside.
- Strong tackler. Has good power in hands and can anchor, shed, and chase.
- Legitimate burst to close and an effective wrap tackler.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Stands up well against the run but is very pursuit-conscious and will take unneeded wide angles.
- Lacks the ability to be a true edge burner. While Ware-Hudson was able to physically overpower opponents at the college, he will have to develop a wider repertoire of moves in the pros.
- Ware-Hudson remains a bit raw, as he is inconsistent with his hand use and lacks violence in his hands
