Draft Profile: Bio
Logan Parr, born in San Antonio, Texas, stands 6'4" and weighs 314 pounds. The SMU offensive guard transferred from Texas following the 2023 season, where he spent three years with the Longhorns. Originally ranked as the nation's No. 215 overall prospect and No. 10 guard by 247Sports coming out of O'Connor High School. After seeing limited action at Texas across three seasons, primarily on special teams and field goal units, Parr transferred to SMU for the 2023 season. He started 13 of 14 games at left guard for the Mustangs, earning First-Team All-AAC honors and DCTF All-Texas Second Team recognition.
At O'Connor High School, Parr was a four-year starter and earned all-state and two-time all-district honors. He anchored an offensive line that produced multiple 1,000-yard rushers and averaged over 400 yards per game. His senior year offense averaged 33.4 points per game while registering three games of 40+ points and 333.9 yards per game.
Scouting Report: Strengths
- Quick-twitch athlete for his frame who shows plus lateral movement skills and excellent change of direction ability in pass pro situations
- Stout anchor in pass protection with natural knee bend and powerful base to absorb bull rushers while maintaining leverage
- Heavy hands at the point of attack with shock power on initial contact, consistently jolting defenders backwards on drive blocks
- Plus spatial awareness when working against stunts and twists, showing natural feel for picking up late loopers and exchanging defenders
- Iron man endurance level with proven ability to maintain intensity and technique deep into the fourth quarter
- Position versatility with experience at multiple interior spots, displaying comfort in both gap and zone blocking schemes
- Quick processor who consistently identifies defensive fronts pre-snap and adjusts blocking assignments accordingly
- Above-the-rim athlete who excels climbing to the second level with proper angles and timing to seal off linebackers
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Waist bender who plays too high through contact, particularly when drive blocking in the run game
- Inconsistent hand strikes allow defenders inside his frame, compromising leverage and control through the block
- Average get-off quickness impacts timing on pull blocks and ability to reach defensive tackles in zone scheme
- Block sustainability needs work - tends to lose grip strength and placement in extended pass pro reps
- Raw power doesn't consistently translate to movement in the run game due to mechanical inefficiencies
Scouting Report: Summary
His production shows a developmental interior lineman with immediate backup potential and core special teams value. Natural movement skills and anchor strength translate well to pass protection at the next level, though mechanical refinements are needed to maximize his run blocking potential. His plus athletic traits and proven durability suggest scheme versatility, with an early fit as a backup at both guard spots. Technical flaws in hand placement and pad level are coachable issues that shouldn't significantly hinder his development timeline.
While the raw tools are evident, particularly in pass protection, consistency in the run game will determine his ceiling as a potential starter. The foundation is there for a reliable backup with the upside to compete for starting reps with proper development.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank
in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance.
For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
