Draft Profile: Bio
Micah Morris from Camden County High School was rated a 4-star recruit by ESPN and handed a 4-star grade by 247 Sports. Following high school, Morris opted to join Georgia. In 2021 as a freshman Morris saw action in just 2 games and played a total of 12 snaps for the Bulldogs. He allowed no QB hurries, no QB hits, and no sacks while playing sparingly.
As a sophomore in 2022 he played in 4 games and a total of 16 snaps. He conceded no QB hurries, no QB hits, and no sacks while playing sparingly.
Scouting Report: Strengths
- Morris has good size and power, firing off the line of scrimmage and capable of creating movement in the run game.
- In the run game, Morris plays with a mean streak and does a nice job generating a push at the initial point of attack. He can get outside and does a decent job landing blocks in space.
- He can engulf pass rushers with his long arms and strong grip, and he’s fairly coordinated mirroring as a pass protector.
- Morris flashes power and nastiness in the run game, able to win at the point of attack and athletic enough to get out as a pulling blocker before landing blocks on the move at the second level.
- Fires off the snap quickly, and he shows the flexibility to get out and seal on reach blocks. He’s at his best, however, in the phone booth.
- With a thick build and a naturally wide base, he brings power and physicality in the run game.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Pad level and leverage are an issue due to his unusually tall frame, and Morris can have issues getting low enough against smaller, quicker interior defensive linemen.
- Has enough power in the run game, but doesn't consistently finish plays
- Has good-not-great feet. Dealing with speed on the edge will likely be a problem, especially because he’s more comfortable moving forward as a run blocker than he is retreating as a pass protector.

For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
