Draft Profile: Bio
Trejan Bridges from Hebron High High School was rated a 4-star recruit by ESPN and handed a 4-star grade by 247 Sports. After high school, Bridges opted to join Oklahoma.

In 2019 as a freshman Bridges saw action in 7 games for the Sooners as he made 7 receptions for only 82 yards for an average of 11.7 yards per reception, with 2 TDs, and an outstanding QB rating when targeted of 149.0.

As a sophomore in 2020 he played just 2 games and had just 2 catches for 19 yards for an average of 9.5 yards per catch, with no TDs, and a solid QB rating when targeted of 84.0.
Scouting Report: Strengths
  • A savvy, natural pass-catcher with reliable hands and very good focus. Snatches the ball out of the air and shows the concentration to make acrobatic catches look easy.
  • He’s coordinated with soft, reliable hands, and Bridges shows the ability to adjust to balls thrown behind him, as well as a knack for digging out low throws.
  • Bridges has strong hands and is extremely competitive, and he has an innate sense of timing when it comes to elevating and high-pointing balls.
  • He’s equally dangerous in catch-and-run situations as he is taking the top off a defense
  • Often used on deep routes, getting separation down the sideline or over the middle on crossing routes by extending his arms rather than pure speed.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • He’s not a guy who will take the top off of a defense. While his hands are reliable, he’s not a contested-catch guy downfield.
  • NFL defenders may be able to knock him off his route because of his slight frame.
  • Bridges also had problems with drops when coming back to the action. Bridges has some issues against press coverage, sometimes spending too much time hand fighting at the line of scrimmage.
  • And along with less-than-ideal size, his playing speed is good but well below the elite level.
