Draft Profile: Bio
Jaden Reddell came to Georgia from Raymore-Peculiar High School in Missouri. Todd Hartley, the Bulldogs' tight ends coach, has said recruiters viewed him as a very developmental prospect coming out of high school.

Reddell caught two balls for 18 yards across four appearances during his 2024 redshirt season. Georgia used him in 14 games the next year, mostly as a blocker, and his lone reception came against Charlotte. Kirby Smart has described him as the embodiment of development and says he is still getting better.

Lawson Luckie remains the starter, but Reddell has carved out a bigger share of snaps this fall, lining up inline on most plays and in the slot on others. His 38-yard, one-touchdown afternoon came in the 63-3 rout of Tennessee State, where a 58-yard score was also erased by a penalty. He added a 53-yard grab at Alabama and two catches against Florida, and he has eight receptions for 130 yards overall.
Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Caught a touchdown in the opening win over Tennessee State
  • Made a 53-yard catch in the road game at Alabama
  • Averages more than 16 yards a catch this season
  • Kirby Smart calls him the embodiment of player development
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • Reserve role behind Lawson Luckie, with 158 snaps this season
  • Frame is notably light for a tight end who lines up inline
  • Flagged twice while blocking, including once at Alabama
  • Just 11 receptions in three college seasons combined
  • Dropped a ball against Vanderbilt among his 13 targets
Scouting Report: Summary
Reddell is an athletic, improving tight end whose role at Georgia has grown this fall. He has a touchdown against Tennessee State and a 53-yard catch at Alabama.

However, Luckie still gets most of the work, and Reddell has played 158 snaps. He is very light for inline duty and has only 11 career catches.

Overall, Reddell is a developmental tight end who has shown flashes but little volume. He projects as a priority free agent and should stay at Georgia another year.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
