A St. Thomas Aquinas product out of South Florida, Frederique was a three-star who flipped his commitment from West Virginia to Miami, staying home to play for the Hurricanes.He earned his first career start as a true freshman in 2024, breaking up a pass against Florida A&M, then grew into a bigger role.
In 2025 Frederique broke up five passes across eleven games while adding 23 tackles, playing the receiver's hands well and competing on the boundary for a Miami secondary that leaned on his coverage. A long, ascending cover man out of a national high school power, he flashed the ball skills and instincts that made him a coveted in-state recruit, with the snap count and consistency still to climb. The five breakups and the St. Thomas Aquinas pedigree flag an ascending cover man, and the flip from West Virginia kept a long, instinctive corner at home in Miami.

Frederique is a lean, fast boundary corner who earned freshman All-America honors with a low catch rate in 2024 before a quieter sophomore season, and he still broke up five passes and competes at the catch point. The timed speed and the early flashes are the projectable traits, and the prior production suggests a higher ceiling than the 2025 grades show. The athletic base and the youth keep him on Day 3 boards.The 2025 tape is more modest. He did not record an interception, his coverage dipped from the freshman form, and he surrendered 317 yards with reps left on the field. At 180 pounds he is light enough for bigger receivers to test, and his man and zone are both modest for the snaps. He is a young, fast corner whose production took a step back and needs to recover the freshman trajectory.
The wager is the speed, the youth, and the freshman flashes, a developmental boundary corner with starter upside if the coverage rebounds. The light frame and the modest 2025 results keep the grade measured, but the trajectory and the athleticism are worth chasing.
