Guards face the shortest path to the quarterback, so their pass blocking grade matters more than the position’s draft value suggests. It scores pressures, hits and sacks allowed against interior rushers and blitzing linebackers. Zack Martin (Notre Dame) and Chance Warmack (Alabama) both graded near the top of the country in college.
The table ranks this year’s draft-eligible guards by pass blocking grade, with run blocking grade and overall rating alongside.
