A Wichita Falls product out of Hirschi High School, A'Marion Peterson closed his prep career with more than 5,000 rushing yards and 62 touchdowns, including a junior season of 1,817 yards at 7.6 per carry with 28 scores that earned District 4-4A-I Offensive MVP honors. The four-star recruit graduated a semester early and enrolled at USC in 2023.Carries proved scarce with the Trojans, where Peterson totaled 18 rushes for 79 yards across 12 appearances in two seasons while making the 2024 Big Ten Fall All-Academic Team as a communication major. In search of a bigger role, he transferred to UTSA ahead of the 2025 season.
Working behind starter Robert Henry Jr., Peterson appeared in 13 games for the Roadrunners in 2025, rushing 49 times for 177 yards and three touchdowns while adding two receptions. A season-high 10 carries produced 32 yards and a score in a 58-24 win over East Carolina, and he capped the year with 38 yards and a touchdown on eight carries in UTSA's 57-20 First Responder Bowl win over FIU.
