A 2025 team captain at Ohio State, Inniss signed with the Buckeyes out of Florida's American Heritage as a top-50 national recruit who drew a five-star rating from Rivals. He caught a 58-yard touchdown on his lone reception as a freshman in 2023, then added four catches for 49 yards in a three-game 2024 campaign.Inniss moved into the starting slot job in 2025 and caught 36 passes for 271 yards and three touchdowns across 14 games without a single drop, scoring against Wisconsin, Rutgers and Michigan. He posted a season-high six receptions against UCLA, a season-best 41 receiving yards against Penn State, and four catches in the College Football Playoff meeting with Miami, while also handling punt-return duty with 17 returns for 181 yards.
In January 2026 Inniss announced he would put off the NFL and return to Ohio State for his senior season, coming back as a returning captain for the Buckeyes.
