Scouting Report: Strengths

- Freshman All-American and a starter in each of his three seasons
- Good athlete for a tight end, with a forty in the good band
- Comfortable as an in-line blocker in a run-heavy role
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Dropped two passes in a poor game against Iowa
- Modest receiving output, with 156 yards this season
- Committed six penalties as a blocker in 2025
- Limited ability to separate from linebackers in coverage
- Two more seasons of eligibility make a return likely
Scouting Report: Summary
DeGraaf is an athletic, experienced tight end who has started for Washington since his freshman year. He blocks in-line, catches what comes his way and can make plays down the field, as his touchdown at USC showed. However, his receiving numbers are modest, and he dropped two passes against Iowa. He also committed six penalties in 2025, and his blocking has not been dominant.
Overall, DeGraaf is a useful, versatile tight end who is still developing. He projects as a priority free agent, but Washington may well have him back next year.
