Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Edwards has very good vision and a knack for picking out cut-back lanes and then breaking offchunks of yardage.
  • An excellent blocker on the outside, Edwards also adds value in the running game.
  • Edwards is a natural playmaker, at his best with the ball in his hands.
  • Possesses quick feet and straight-line speed but doesn't have the elite burst to be a constant big-play threat. Improving patience as a runner, following pulling guards and makes good decisions on his cut.
  • He’s not a burner, and he is more of a block-what’s-given runner than a guy who is going to create.
  • Not truly explosive, but possesses enough speed to beat linebacker to the edge.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • His speed is decent, but he’s not a home run hitter at the next level.
  • Edwards really isn’t a guy who will create a lot of separation.
  • Edwards does most of his work on the perimeter — and ran a lot of fly sweeps

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
