Scouting Report: Strengths
- Good effort at the point of attack and second level as a blocker. Intelligent and will quickly acclimate to an NFL offense.
- Has extremely good, soft, natural hands. Consistently makes the clean catch.
- Has hands of glue, about as good as you 'll see in the sport.
- A big-bodied and sure-handed underneath target, he's a fluid mover, and Johnson shows good sense as a route runner and provides an enormous catch radius over the middle of the field.
- A major factor is his size, strength and explosive athleticism, but he also has a knack for tracking and high-pointing the ball.
- Johnson plays with a smoothness and balance, and he shows a knack for setting up defensive backs.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- He’s largely a non-factor downfield, and Johnson had issues with drops when running behind a defensive back and tracking the ball. More quick than fast, he won’t always be able to run away from NFL defensive backs.
- He’s a work in progress as a blocker, often playing too high and getting overpowered at the point of attack.
- Johnson has constantly ran a limited route tree.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank

For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
