- He’s ready for the physicality of the NFL; Okechukwu has a stout build, strong core and powerful limbs to step in right away as a three-down player.
- Faces double-team and holds the line. Stays alive against the run and mobile quarterbacks, shedding to either side to chase.
- Okechukwu shows impressive burst and enough quickness to occasionally threaten the edge as a pass rusher.
- Good not great quickness and change of direction agility. Chases, using a long spin move to clear blocks. Low, strong off the line.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Not explosive as a pass rusher or run defender. Lacks elite speed and flexibility to turn the corner and is late off the snap.
- Hands aren't strong or active enough to disengage consistently. Gets good push, but will not bull rush NFL tackles.
- Okechukwu has limited range as a tackler, and Okechukwu lacks the straight-line speed to be effective in pursuit.
