Delmar Glaze from West Mecklenburg High School was rated a 3-star recruit by ESPN and handed a 3-star grade by 247 Sports. Following high school, Glaze opted to join Maryland.In 2020 as a freshman Glaze saw action in just one game and played a total of 12 snaps for the Terrapins. He allowed no QB hurries, no QB hits, and no sacks while playing sparingly.
As a sophomore in 2021 he played in 13 games and a total of 489 snaps. He conceded 4 QB hurries, no QB hits, and no sacks while playing the majority of his snaps at tight tackle, and the rest at left tackle.
In 2022 as a junior Glaze saw action in 12 games and totaled 859 snaps. He gave up 14 QB hurries, no QB hits, and 3 sacks while playing most of his snaps at right tackle.
In 2023 as a senior Glaze saw action in 12 games and played a total of 802 snaps for the Terrapins. He allowed 9 QB hurries, 2 QB hits, and 2 sacks while playing at left tackle.

- Not to be bet against with the skills set to line up at guard or tackle. Could develop into a solid backup and eventual starter in the NFL.
- He’s a coordinated athlete who can win at the point of attack in the run game, and Glaze can also move to consistently land blocks at the second level.
- Is an oversized pivot with good mobility for his size. Agile and fluid, he’s capable of moving out to the second level and landing blocks.
- Positional blocker who excels when he allows his athleticism to take over.
- Plays with natural leverage and has the strength to anchor against the bull rush. Glaze also packs a violent initial punch that can stand up pass rushers.
- Glaze thrives on physicality, often out-grappling bigger defensive linemen and winning in the phone booth with tenacity and upper-body strength.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Lacks lateral agility, flexibility and footwork to start on the outside in the NFL.
- Often simply tries to push pass rushers past the pocket. Glaze can also look a bit hesitant when it comes to recognizing and reacting to twists, stunts and blitzes up front.
- Has enough power in the run game, but at times Glaze seems to lack a mean streak.
