Draft Profile: Bio
Georgia's prep rushing leader as a junior with 2,757 yards and 38 touchdowns, Brown finished his South Atlanta High School career with 7,476 rushing yards and 84 scores, won Region 6-2A player of the year as a senior and flipped from a Purdue pledge to sign with Louisville as a three-star recruit.He carried 11 times for 65 yards and a touchdown in his lone appearance of 2023 while taking a redshirt, then rushed 47 times for 243 yards and three touchdowns across 11 games in 2024.
Brown took over a larger share in 2025, rushing 96 times for 703 yards and six touchdowns, a 7.3-yard average, and catching 12 passes for 118 yards in 10 games. He ran for a career-best 136 yards against California and 135 more against Clemson, missed the final two regular-season games with a lower leg injury, then returned to gain 112 rushing yards against Toledo in the Boca Raton Bowl.

Few backs anywhere squeezed more from their touches: 703 yards on just 96 carries, better than seven a pop, with top-tier rushing tape, back-to-back 135-yard games against California and Clemson, and more than half the production arriving on breakaway runs. Brown has now stacked two seasons of hyper-efficient committee work at Louisville, and the contact balance on the second-half tape is the part coaches rewind.The projection math is unkind. His timed speed is below average, which makes 414 breakaway yards difficult to forecast against NFL pursuit, the pass protection tape is the worst in this group, a lower-leg injury closed the regular season two games early, and 96 carries is an efficiency sample rather than a durability proof. Receiving usage stayed modest, leaving the role pitch one-dimensional for now.
Efficiency this extreme always earns the follow-up look from the league, and Louisville's 2026 backfield, with the depth chart thinning around him, should finally supply the volume test the file needs. Hold this per-carry standard at 180 touches with a healthy leg and the league will happily forgive the stopwatch on draft weekend; the current projection is a camp free agent carrying a one-cut zone audition and the best per-touch numbers in the group that nobody has yet bothered to stress-test at volume.
