Dijon Johnson intercepted six passes, returning four for touchdowns, as a junior at Wharton High School in Tampa. ESPN ranked him No. 91 nationally, and he was chosen for the Polynesian Bowl.Johnson covered kicks for Florida in 2023 and made five starts in 2024. He started four games in 2025 and intercepted a pass at LSU, but he tore his meniscus against Miami on 20 September and had surgery, ending his season. He needed a second knee procedure in April 2026 and was limited in August camp. In May 2025 he was arrested in Tampa on firearm, drug and resisting charges; the state attorney later took no further action.
Johnson has appeared six times this season, logging 137 snaps. He intercepted FAU in the opener and has two pass breakups, but Ole Miss completed five of seven throws in his coverage, and he has given up 159 yards in coverage.
