Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Marks has a low center of gravity and runs with a nice forward lean. He’s decisive with good vision and shows nice balance when running in traffic and the body control to bounce and spin off of bodies.
  • He’s equally dangerous in catch-and-run situations as Marks is taking the top off a defense
  • He’s a natural pass catcher who can be used on screen and swing passes, and he has the ability to flex out as a matchup chess piece.
  • He shows decent burst and straight-line speed to turn in big plays.
  • He shows good vision and good explosion upfield once he plants his foot. Marks has lateral movement skills and enough speed to threaten big plays. He’s excellent in the passing game, capable of flexing out as a receiver and creating mismatches against linebackers, and he’s a solid back in the screen game.
  • Shows a surprising burst to beat linebackers to the edge. Can plant his foot in the ground and explode, showing better straight-line speed than expected.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • Marks has constantly ran a limited route tree.
  • Too indecisive and hesitant at the line of scrimmage.
  • His playing speed is less than elite. Marks won’t run past defenders like Marks did at the college level.

The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
