Millard Bradford from Fork Union Military Academy High School was rated a 3-star recruit by ESPN and handed a 3-star grade by 247 Sports. Following high school, Bradford opted to join TCU.In 2019 as a freshman Bradford saw action in 12 games and played a total of 134 snaps at safety for the Horned Frogs. He recorded 17 tackles, 2 assists, while adding 7 stops. In coverage Bradford notched up no pass breakups, no interceptions, and QB rating when targetted of 80.0.

- Gives up his body in run support with a very good closing burst.
- His ball skills are very good. Bradford tracks the ball well downfield and has the hands and coordination to come away with interceptions even when Bradford isn’t targeted often.
- Shows good instincts when facing the action in zone coverage, and he has solid ball skills.
- Does a good job getting his head around in time when playing with his back to the line of scrimmage. Has the ability to cover quickness underneath.
- Has quick feet and excellent change-of-direction ability, capable of mirroring quickness underneath.
- Has the fluidity, speed and quick feet to come down and defend slot receivers in man coverage. Bradford also does a nice job breaking down in space as a tackler after the catch.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Needs to tighten his angles in pursuit. Needs to show better tackling technique to consistently finish.
- Tends to play conservatively and give too much cushion when playing off.
- Plays out of control too often, laying a lot of big hits but also missing a lot of tackles along the way. Bradford also needs to do a better job reading routes when sitting back as a single-high safety.
