Draft Profile: Bio
Roderick Robinson II from Lincoln High School was rated a 4-star recruit by ESPN and handed a 4-star grade by 247 Sports. Following high school, Robinson II joined Georgia. In 2023 as a freshman Robinson II saw action in 5 games for the Bulldogs as he ran for 196 yards on 24 attempts for an outstanding 8.2 yards per carry, with 2 TDs, with no fumbles. As a receiver he made no receptions for no yards.
Scouting Report: Strengths
- Robinson has the size to hold up if asked to pass protect, and Robinson has improved as a pass catcher to the point that he’s passable as a check-down option.
- He is a savvy workhorse runner who maximizes his physical gifts. He runs with excellent vision and patience, showing a strong understanding of how his blocks are developing and where the gaps are going to open.
- He runs with violence; he’s capable of thrashing through tacklers, and he has the natural balance to withstand contact.
- Solid receiver in the flat, capable of running through tackles on the edge to move the chains. Flexible enough to catch passes thrown behind him.
- Balanced runner maintains low pad level and has the power to keep moving after initial contact.
- Robinson aggressively finishes runs and consistently falls forward in a crowd. His low pad level and a bit of wiggle keep him from absorbing big hits.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Robinson isn’t slow, but Robinson lacks the third gear to be a home run threat. His hands are improving but still inconsistent in the passing game.
- Robinson could stand to get smaller when squeezing through traffic.
- He’s more of a cut blocker in pass protection as opposed to a guy who will stick his face in against the blitz, although that is a correctable flaw.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank
in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance.
For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
