Draft Profile: Bio
T.J. Moore grew up in Tampa, Florida, where he played at Tampa Catholic High School. Over his junior and senior seasons, he totaled 92 receptions for 2,293 yards and 30 touchdowns. His senior year alone produced 50 catches, 1,272 yards, and 17 scores on 25.4 yards per catch. He was an All-American Bowl selection and named the game's MVP during bowl week by On3.Moore arrived at Clemson in 2024 as a consensus top-100 recruit, rated a five-star by 247Sports and a four-star by ESPN and Rivals. As a true freshman he caught 45 passes for 651 yards and five touchdowns across 14 games. He and fellow freshman Bryant Wesco Jr. made Clemson the first power conference team since at least 2000 to feature two freshmen each topping 650 receiving yards and five touchdowns in the same season.
As a sophomore in 2025, Moore stepped into the clear WR1 role after Wesco went down with a season-ending injury, starting all 13 games and leading the Tigers with 52 receptions for 837 yards and four touchdowns, earning third-team All-ACC honors from Phil Steele. His career totals sit at 97 catches for 1,487 yards and nine touchdowns in 27 games. He has agreed to return to Clemson for 2026.

Scouting Report: Summary
Clemson's T.J. Moore does his best work eating cushion and threatening the top of the coverage. He caught 52 balls for 837 yards with only two drops, a dependable pair of hands attached to plus speed, and his 124-yard, two-score game against SMU showed the big-play range on a free release. He also creates with the ball, stacking 399 yards after the catch on the quick game.The gaps are physical and situational. He is a poor blocker whose run-game work needs to come along, he won only six of eighteen contested targets, and his slim frame lets stronger corners reroute him and disrupt the timing. A one-yard outing against Troy is the kind of disappearance that shows up when the free releases are taken away.
The best setting is a timing-based passing game that schemes him clean access and lets him win vertically and after the catch rather than through traffic. Overall, the hands and speed are a starter-caliber base and the contested and blocking work are coachable, landing him as a rotational contributor with a clear path to a starting flanker job if he adds strength and toughens up the dirty work. The vertical speed and clean hands are the foundation; the blocking and contested work are the homework.
