Humphrey grew up as a wrestler but soon made the transition to football where he showcased his skills for the Sooners. Graded as a four-star prospect by 247Sports out of high school, Humphrey was one of the nation's top center prospects and as a senior before committing to Oklahoma. He was a Rimington Trophy finalist, second-team Associated Press All-American, and received Big 12 Co-Offensive Lineman of the Year accolades as a 14-game starter in 2019. Humphrey is one of the few left-handed centers in the country.

Strengths
  • Has the agility and technique to contribute early in his professional career. Quick, active hands to latch on to defenders.
  • Good foot quickness to remain outside. Can get to the second level with surprising agility when adjusting to moving defenders. Underrated athleticism, agility, balance, and even straight-line speed to contribute.
  • Where Humphrey wins as a blocker is with his upper body. He frequently is able to turn defensive tackles and leverage them away from the play, showing good core strength and flexibility.
  • He has a high IQ to meet the desired physical attributes and will help solidify a team’s offensive line.
  • Has the feet to adjust when he anticipates what's coming. Effective trapping and bends at the knees with adequate core strength to absorb the bull rush. Can clear a path at the second level if he hits the target.
  • He controlled the A-gaps as a left-handed center and used his frame to out-leverage interior defenders across from him.
Weaknesses
  • Is slightly undersized for the position
  • Will punch at smaller defenders instead of latching on and is more of a mauler than mover in the running game. Can improve maintaining outside leverage when doubling the nose. Ducks his head and gets too upright, causing him to fall off second-level blocks.
  • A short-area blocker with limited range and doesn't consistently get to the second level. Will play undisciplined at times, especially in space.
  • Attacks when necessary, though he won't consistently dominate and can lose balance overextending.

Pro-day Update
Creed had excellent performance in the athletic testing portion of the Sooners’ Pro Day workout last week. , where he recorder unofficial times of 5.09 seconds in the 40-yard dash, 4.46 seconds in the shuttle, and 7.54 seconds in the 3-cone drill while posting a 33-inch vertical and a 9-feet, 4-inch broad jump with 29 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press.

Humphrey is the top center in this year's draft, and after a great workout at his pro-day is shooting up draft boards, and could even be the first interior lineman selected. We evaluate him as late a first-round talent but may fall to the second because he is somewhat undersized.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
