After high school, Hall opted to join Florida A&M.In 2021 as a freshman Hall saw action in just 3 games for the Rattlers as he made no receptions for no yards for an average of 0.0 yards per reception, with no TDs, and only QB rating when targeted of 39.6.
Scouting Report: Strengths
- Hall also has value as a catch-and-run threat, running hard and consistently picking up yards after the catch.
- He accelerates quickly and possesses good straight-line speed. He shows solid ball-tracking skills and body control downfield, able to adjust to the off-target throw.
- He’s equally dangerous in catch-and-run situations as Hall is taking the top off a defense
- Shows good sense as a route runner and provides an enormous catch radius over the middle of the field. He has soft hands and uses his frame effectively to shield defenders, making him a major threat in the red zone.
- He’s a precise route runner, creating separation when used on quick outs and stop patterns in college. He has good stop-start ability and lateral agility.
- Hall has reliable hands and shows the willingness to make catches in traffic over the middle.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- And along with less-than-ideal size, his playing speed is good but well below the elite level.
- Hall really isn’t a guy who will create a lot of separation.
- He’ll be coming to the NFL from a wide-open spread offense in which Hall ran a limited route tree.
