2023 WIDE RECEIVERS WITH THE BEST HANDS
The hands grade measures how often a receiver finishes the play once the ball is catchable: catch rate, drops, contested wins and how cleanly he secures the ball through contact. It is the trait scouts trust least from highlight tape and most from a full season of targets. Larry Fitzgerald (Pittsburgh) and Calvin Johnson (Georgia Tech) both arrived in the league with drop rates that held up against far better coverage than they saw in college.
