Draft Profile: Bio
Isaiah Sategna III comes from track royalty: his mother, Dahlia, ran on Jamaica's 4x100 relay at the 1992 Olympics, and his father, Mario, was an All-America decathlete at LSU. A four-star receiver and the Gatorade Arkansas Track Athlete of the Year at Fayetteville High School, he led the nation with 1,908 receiving yards as a senior before signing with Arkansas.Sategna redshirted in 2022 and made his mark on special teams in 2023, returning a punt 88 yards for a touchdown against BYU and earning Freshman All-SEC honors. After 37 catches for 491 yards in 2024, he transferred to Oklahoma, where he led the Sooners with 67 catches, 965 yards and eight touchdowns in 2025, earning first-team All-SEC honors from the Associated Press.
Sategna returned for a fifth season and opened 2026 with a touchdown catch and an 88-yard punt return score in a 51-0 win over UTEP, earning SEC Special Teams Player of the Week honors.
Scouting Report: Strengths
- Track speed that stretches defenses vertically and powers his returns
- Big-play threat after the catch, with 524 yards after the catch in 2025
- Dangerous punt returner with two career return touchdowns
- Wins vertically from the slot, with 101 yards against New Mexico this fall
- Productive slot weapon who led Oklahoma with 965 receiving yards in 2025
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Undersized at 5-foot-10 and 185 pounds, which limits him to the slot
- Drops are a pattern, with six in 2025, two of them against Alabama
- Ball security concerns after fumbles against Tennessee and Alabama in 2025
- Underneath work lags his vertical game, and physical coverage bottled him up against Michigan
Scouting Report: Summary
Sategna has the rare combination of track speed and football production that makes him one of the most dangerous slot receivers and returners in the country. The son of an Olympic sprinter and an All-America decathlete, he ran a 10.80 100 meters in high school and carries that speed onto the field, where he can take the top off a defense or turn a short catch into a long gain. He led Oklahoma with 965 receiving yards in 2025, and his 88-yard punt return touchdown against UTEP in the opener was a reminder of how dangerous he is in space. However, his size is a limiting factor. At 5-foot-10 and 185 pounds, he projects strictly as a slot receiver, and he can be bottled up by physical coverage, as he was against Michigan this fall, when he caught two of eight targets for nine yards. Ball security has also been an issue, with fumbles against Tennessee and Alabama and drops against top competition last season.
Overall, Sategna is an electric slot receiver and returner whose speed gives him an immediate path to an NFL role. He projects as a sixth-round receiver who should make a roster as a returner first, with the upside to grow into a starting slot.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank
in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance.
For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
